Giiwedaawigaming is a project initiated by Grand Council Treaty 3 to develop a Housing Strategy for the First Nation communities under Treaty 3. Grey & Ivy was engaged to lead community and youth engagement efforts and to create visualizations based on data collected through prior community surveys.
Gathering Stories with Brown Paper
This engagement poster sparked community conversations rooted in the word Amik (beaver in Ojibwe). Through collage, the team drew parallels between beaver behaviour and community-based housing practices. Well received by participants, it offered a creative, relatable way to reflect on their values, roles, and hopes in shaping their housing future.
